China Institute Of Navigation Held The 2021 Advanced Workshop Of The Knowledge Updating Project For Professional And Technical Talents Of The Ministry Of Human Resources And Social Security

China Institute Of Navigation (CIN) held the advanced workshop of the Knowledge Updating Project for Professional and Technical Talents of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (MHRSS) in 2021.

 

On November 17, 2021, CIN held an online opening ceremony for the “Professional Technology Transfer and Transformation Capacity Enhancement Class in the field of Rescue and Salvage”. Yan Xiaobo, Secretary General, delivered a speech and Liu Shun, Deputy Secretary General, presided over the ceremony. This workshop was organized by the Science and Technology Innovation Department of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST). CIN, Dalian Maritime University (DMU) and the Rescue and Salvage Department of the Ministry of Transport undertook this Knowledge Updating Project of MHRSS. Wang Xiaoyong, Vice President of DMU, Zhang Jianxin, Deputy Director of the Rescue and Salvage Department of the Ministry of Transport, and 100 participants from the Rescue and Salvage Department, DMU and enterprises attended the opening ceremony.

The Science and Technology Innovation Department of CAST has formulated a three-year training plan for 10,000 professional and technical personnel with middle and senior titles or staffs in relevant management positions of enterprises and institutions this year and incorporated it into the Knowledge Updating Project for Professional and Technical Talents of MHRSS. The Science and Technology Innovation Department held 40 training courses in 2021, and CIN successfully declared and held 2 courses. In addition to the training courses, CIN held “Improvement Class of Professional Technology Transfer and Transformation Capacity in the field of maritime investigation” with DMU and the Maritime Safety Administration (MSA) of the Ministry of Transport in DMU from October 20 to 23. A total of 80 maritime investigation officers from MSA of the Ministry of Transport attended the training.

The Knowledge Updating Program of the MHRSS which was hosted by CIN, has reflected the purpose of serving marine scientists and technicians.
