On the morning of March 21, 2026, Liu Shun, Secretary-General of the China Institute of Navigation (hereinafter referred to as the Institute), along with his team, visited Hohai University for research and investigation. Zhang Jisheng, Director of the International Cooperation Office at Hohai University, Zhang Xiaoxiang, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Office, Guan Dawei, Associate Dean of the School of Port, Coastal and Offshore Engineering, and 14 other teachers participated in the meeting.
At the meeting, Secretary-General Liu Shun introduced the progress of the Institute in areas such as organizational development, academic exchanges, talent recommendation, evaluation of scientific and technological achievements, award applications, standard formulation, and the development of scientific and technological journals. Director Zhang Jisheng and others welcomed the visit by Secretary-General Liu Shun and his team. They introduced the overall situation of Hohai University, the relevant research teams, as well as their work in maritime technology, college development, and research progress.
During the exchanges, both sides reached a consensus on jointly promoting the innovative development of maritime technology and formed cooperation intentions in areas such as talent recommendation, achievement evaluation, and standard development.
