May 30, 2020 marks the fourth “National Science and Technology Workers Day”. The China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council jointly held the Second National Innovation Award Commendation Conference with the theme of “Science and Technology for the People, I am a Striver. Academician Yan Xinping, who was recommended by CIN, was listed and awarded.
The successful recommendation of this year's National Innovation Award is another breakthrough of CIN after the successful recommendation of the first one. In 2017, Professor Hu Ya'an of Nanjing Hydraulic Research Institute, successfully recommended as the winner of the First National Innovation Award, stood out from many outstanding scientific and technological workers and won the award.
