On the morning of July 31, Huang Youfang, Chairman of China Navigation Institute(CIN), visited the China Highway and Transportation Society(CHTS), who was warmly received by Weng Mengyong, Member of the People Congress Standing Committee, Deputy Secretary and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Transport of CPC and Chairman of CHTS.
Weng said, CHTS is ready to further strengthen the cooperation with CIN to make greater contributions to the transportation and shipping powers.
On behalf of CIN, Chairman Huang introduced the preparations for the World Maritime Conference (WMC) co-hosted by CIN and Shanghai Maritime University(SMU), which will be held on Oct 20. He expected to receive strong support of CHTS.
Liu Wenjie, Deputy Chairman and Secretary of the Standing Committee of CHTS, Ju Rongyun, Deputy Secretary and other leaders of the academic exchange center, WTC operating center and the offices of CIN and CHTS attended this symposium.
