From October 22 to 25, 2018, the 2018 Qualification Assessment of Senior Professional Titles on National Shipping has been held successfully in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province.
This meeting was hosted by China Institute of Navigation (CIN) and organized by Yangtze River Pilot Center of CIN. Many leaders attended the conference, including Li Hui, Deputy Division Chief of Talents for People’s Education Secretary of Ministry of Transportation, Li Jiang, Deputy Director of Yangtze River Maritime Affair Bureau, Cheng Xuesan, Chairman of China Pilot Center, Chen Jianhua, Standing Vice President of China Pilot Committee, Cao Di, Standing Vice Councilor of CIN and Gu Weiguo, Deputy Secretary of CIN . Another 31 experts and leaders of maritime and inland shipping also attended this conference, including Li Shixin, Chairman Commissioner of Maritime Shipping Committee and Deputy Chief of Maritime Bureau of Ministry of Transportation, Zhang Tongning, Chairman Commissioner of the Committee of Inland Navigation Shipping and Party Secretary of the Yangtze River Pilot Station, Xie Chunlin, General Manager of Energy Transportation Co. Ltd of China Merchants Group and Xue Liping, Deputy Director of Hei Longjiang Shipping Authority. The conference was hosted by Cao Di, and Li Jiang gave a welcoming speech. Li Hui, Deputy Division Chief of Talents for People’s Education Secretary of Ministry of Transportation, delivered a speech and clarified related policies and requirements of assessment. In this assessment, Chairman Commissioner Lin Shixi and Zhang Tongning were respectively responsible for the Qualification Assessment of Senior Professional Titles on National Maritime Shipping and on National Inland Shipping. The professors participated in the assessment reviewed application materials of 192 involved members under the principle of fairness and justice.
