On December 12th, the signing ceremony of cooperation letter of intent for the Collaboration and Innovation Platform of Chinese Maritime Education Universities, led by CIN and jointly initiated by Dalian Maritime University, Shanghai Maritime University, Jimei University and Wuhan University of Technology, was held in the 4th session of the 8th CIN Council in Changsha, Hunan Province. Cao Di, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of CIN and the representatives from the four universities signed the cooperation letter of intent.
According to the cooperation letter of intent, the platform is to build platform of scientific and technological information sharing for mutual cooperation, advantages complementation, resource sharing and win-win cooperation in personnel training, education and training, scientific and technological innovation and achievement transformation. The platform will also develop major guiding projects and promote application of marine scientific and technological achievements so as to create more value for shipping enterprises and society, and build a scientific and technological innovation brand of Chinese maritime education institutions to enhance the navigation technology in China.
