Zheng Heping, senior engineer, former Inspector of the Maritime Safety Administration of the Ministry of Transport. He graduated from Ocean University of China and worked in the Maritime Safety Administration of the Ministry of Transportation for a long time. He once served as an executive director of the Seventh Council of China Institute of Navigation.
He has participated in the activities of international and regional organizations such as the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the International Labor Organization(ILO), the International Hydrographic Organization(IHO), the East Asian Hydrographic Commission(EAHC), and the International Lighthouse Association(IALA) etc.; participated in the implementation of relevant international conventions, rules and standards; and has rich experience in international cooperation and exchanges.
