Navigation is an important way for human beings to rationally develop and utilize marine resources, and is an important embodiment of national sea rights and maritime power. With the introduction of the strategy of "transportation power" and "maritime power", shipping industry has become an important part of our country’s economic and social development. In particular, the Belt and Road initiative has made shipping industry a pioneer of our country’s economic development.
In order to better develop and expand maritime culture, enhance people's awareness of navigation, and stimulate the enthusiasm of young people for navigation, it is necessary to publicize and promote it in the form of words, such as popular music, so that the hearts of seafarers are close to the sea, and the world can hear the main melody of shipping!
At the beginning of 2020, the global anti-epidemic war is in progress. As the most important part of the global shipping market, Chinese seafarers, at this moment, are fighting the epidemic together, showing their deep friendship and national identity. Art is rooted in reality, and the feelings are as deep as the sea. We are looking forward to hearing the voice of our seafarers in the most beautiful songs, and seeing the most beautiful figure at the sea, and feeling the confidence and determination of the whole navigation community to unite as one and overcome the difficulties together.

Introduction of Activity
Organizer: This collection activity of Nautical Music List is jointly sponsored by Chinese Seamen & Construction Workers’ Union, China Institute of Navigation, China Shipowners' Association, and Tao Xingzhi Education Foundation, and jointly undertaken by Tao Xingzhi Navigation Education Public Welfare Fund and CNSS.
Activity content: Collection of original nautical song works requires the spread of excellent nautical culture and promotion of positive nautical energy as the main melody, reflecting the nautical spirit of new era of keeping the original aspiration, daring to fight, and taking responsibility.
Objects: We are collecting original nautical songs from dreamers who love navigation and music nationwide.
Principles: openness, fairness, justice, and merit.

Conditions for Election
Once selected, the copyright of all songs belongs to Tao Xingzhi Education Foundation, the organizer of the Nautical Music List; the original author no longer owns all rights related to the song except for the right of signature. The original author of each work will be awarded a corresponding certificate of honor.
The songs should adhere to the principle of main melody and positive energy. There should be no content that violates the existing political principles and rules, and no sensitive and vulgar words.
The main melody of the songs is fluent, beautiful and positive. There is no limit to the types of songs, including pop, ballad, bel canto, etc.
No songs shall contain any content that violates the Constitution of the People's Republic of China and any other related national (regional) laws and regulations.
All songs shall have names of their own.

When submitting their works, candidates should submit and sign the Commitment of Copyright Transfer at the same time. (please identify the QR code below to download the Commitment of Copyright Transfer, or click " read the original " below to download it) Make sure that the submitted works are original, and they have full, complete and exclusive copyright to the works, and have full rights to submit the works to the collection activity. And there is no infringement of other people's copyright, trademark right, reputation right and other lawful rights and interests protected by law. In case of any dispute arising from this, it shall be borne by the promisor. Forms of Works
There are two types of original nautical music works: solo and chorus.
Participation Requirements
- Requiremens for works
1. Song duration: within 5 minutes.
2. Song format: MP3, MP4 or WMA.
3. Song sound quality: the sound quality is required to be clear and without noise.
(2) Submission Materials
1. A copy of the master tape of the works (CD-R format, MP3 or WAVE audio file format, MP4 video file format).
2. A copy of the vocal score of the works (a vocal score refers to a combination of musical score and lyrics, in which the musical scores should be provided in the form of a musical notation or stave, and the lyrics should be filled in below the corresponding notes).

Announcement: The awarded works will be announced at the press conference of China Zheng He Navigating Ranking List, and honors and prizes will be awarded.

The second evaluation of the expert group: According to the results of the primary selection, the expert group nominates first-class works, second-class works, third-class works and excellent works in a ratio of not less than 1/2, and publishes them in cnss.com.cn.

Primary selection: Online voting will be conducted in cnss.com.cn. In order to prohibit repeatedly vote, netizens must vote for different candidates in the list at the same time according to the requirements, so that the online voting is valid. The results of the primary selection will be announced on cnss.com.cn and its Official Wechat Account.
